I read Romero’s version a few years ago and loved it. Ironically, one of the supposed reasons they didn’t go with Romero’s version is because capcom felt that fans would think it was too much of a departure from the games. Clearly they must not have read Anderson’s version very closely.

Well I hope whatever idiot picked anderson’s script over this one got eaten by a zombie doberman. Romero’s films aren’t the best but who has done a better zombie flick then him. I badly wanted to see a resident evil film i’ve played all the games but when i saw andersons films they were laughable. Andersons girlfrend doing high kicks in flimsy outfits rubbish unrealistic zombies and some heavy metal music which does not make you feel like your watching a zombie flick GARBAGE now my life is ruined because i will never get to see the resident evil film i want to see unless Romero gets the chance to do his version and they change a few names so there is no copyright infringment but no its never gonna happen im just going to do it myself with a video camera and it would still be better than Anderson’s resident evil.

I finished reading the script. It’s definitely awesome. Plant 42, the Sharks, Hunters, and even Tyrant are all in the movie. I think they really should have gone with Romero’s version. It would’ve made a lot of people happier
